A warm welcome awaits you at our new traditionally built house on our hill sheep and cattle farm located on the south shore of Loch Tay in the small village of Ardeonaig. Loch Tay is situated in the heart of Scotland in the bonnie county of Perthshire. Succoth Farmhouse is situated 300 yards from the main road taking in wonderful views over Loch Tay and Ben Lawers.
Succoth Farm is the perfect base for discovering beautiful Perthshire or touring, since it is in the centre of Scotland, (map ») or you can simply just relax and take a break. This combined with the relaxing and friendly atmosphere, and a good traditional farmhouse breakfast ensures an enjoyable stay.
We have 3 luxury en-suite bedrooms with tea/coffee making facilities. Our bed and breakfast is a home from home with a cosy lounge to relax in and chat to other guests or watch TV by the open fire whilst enjoying breathtaking views over Loch Tay and Ben Lawers. If you prefer to relax in peace and quiet browse through our collection of books and magazines in the sitting area, while taking in the view of Perthshire hills.
There are a lot of things to do and see in the area with the Scottish Crannog centre only a few miles along the road at Kenmore, this is well worth a visit to see how people lived in times gone by. Also on this route is the Aberfeldy Distillery which encompases the Dewars World of Whisky tour. There are some lovely shops and cafes around this area too. Killin has the beautiful falls of Dochart and breathtaking views of the Tarmachan Range of hills, with some fantastic walks in the area, more information is available from Killin Tourist Centre which is housed in the historic Breadalbane folklore centre, or from the National Trust Centre at Ben Lawers. The Rob Roy Walk also passes close to Succoth Farm.
Dinner or a bar supper can be enjoyed in the Award winning Ardeonaig Hotel, just 200 yds at the bottom of our road, otherwise there are various hotels and restaurants at either end of the Loch in Killin or Kenmore.
